Minecraft's new Pale Garden biome and Creaking mob have once again been leaked ahead of Mojang Studios' live event that takes place on September 28, 2024. Several images have been leaked throughout the internet from fans showcasing a brand new Overworld biome and the new hostile mob. This is the second time the game's upcoming update details have been leaked, the first being the names of the biome and mob on their official website.

Here is everything to know about the new Minecraft leaks ahead of the live event.

Note: This article is based on leaks and speculation. Readers are advised to take the information herein with a grain of salt and await official confirmation.

Pale Garden and Creaking leaked once again ahead of Minecraft Live

Mojang is about to introduce a brand new update for Minecraft on September 28, 2024. However, there have been several leaks about the update before their live event. The most recent update leak happened today (September 27), where several pictures of the developer after-show that the studio was planning for the event.

A few days ago, a clip about the live event officially went live on Minecraft's YouTube channel where they explained how the developers will take a deep dive into the features and showcase them to the community. This after-show was leaked.

Pale Garden biome leak

In the leak, we can see pictures of the new Pale Garden biome surrounded by the regular Overworld forest biome. This could mean the biome will come to the game's first realm. Until now, many fans have been speculating that the biome arrive at the End realm, which has not been updated for quite a while.

The look of the biome fits the name quite well as it looks somewhat desaturated when compared to other greener biomes. This biome will have several trees and can be considered a forest. The tree trunks have a completely unique texture, along with dead vines surrounding them. These log blocks can then be converted into planks that look white, giving players a brand-new wood type to try.

One image also showcases a new block that looks like the new wood's log block at the top and bottom but has a unique orange texture in the middle. Since the block's picture also has a piston attached to it, it could be related to redstone.

Creaking mob leak

The creaking mob was also showcased in the developer after-show, which was leaked a day before Minecraft Live. Prior to this, Mojang officially posted a TikTok video barely showing the mob, which had three yellow eyes vertically stacked on its face. In the pictures that were leaked, we see a much clearer look.

The new creaking mob is slightly taller than the player's in-game characters. Their texture closely matches the tree trunks in the Pale Garden biome. The mob's body is also covered with dead vines present in the biome.

Apart from its looks, we see a leaked picture where it shows a new item called a creaking heart, which could be mainly related to the new mob itself.

From the General's Desk...

Well, here we go again, folks. Another leak has sprung at Mojang. (Maybe they shouldn't mine straight up).

And from the new evidence at hand, it would seem that those of us that have been hoping and praying will be sorely disappointed at tomorrow's Minecraft Live. However, deep my own personal disappointment may go with that, I am certainly NOT disappointed with what new reveals I am seeing today. The new hostile mob, the Creaking, looking insanely creative and wonderful...and VERY creepy. The new biome is also, without a doubt, going to be one of my favorite additions to the Overworld since the Cherry Blossom grove. And the new wood type? To be honest, I haven't found a reason yet to want to build with it, but I'll keep my mind open. I do LOVE having more variety, however.

As far as the leaks themselves...now that we have had three major leaks historically from Mojang, I am beginning to lean on the side that says Mojang has an intentional hand in all of this. But that's just my thoughts. What are your thoughts?

Thank you for reading.
